Sinopsis: Avatar The Legend of Korra, adalah film lanjutan dari film Avatar The Legend of Aang. Dalam buku pertamanya, udara, diceritakan avatar aang telah meninggal tujuh puluh tahun yang lalu dan perputaran avatar pun jatuh di negara air di suku air selatan. Korra dilahirkan dari seorang ayah dan ibu pengendali air, yang bernama Tonraq dan Senna. Satu-satunya yang masih ada dalam tim avatar aang adalah Katara, ia mengajarkan pengendalian dan penyembuhan dengan air kepada Korra. Korra tumbuh di lingkungan yang baik dan menjadi seorang anak yang tomboi. Korra sudah menguasai 3 elemen, yaitu air, tanah, dan api, tetapi 1 elemen yang belum ia kuasai, yaitu udara.Pengendali udara satu-satunya yang harus mengajari Korra adalah Tenzin, yaitu anak dari Aang dan Katara. Tenzin selalu menghindar untuk mengajari Korra elemen udara. Akhirnya Korra pun meninggalkan suku air selatan bersama naga, anjing kutub, dan pergi ke Republik City tempat Tenzin dan keluarganya tinggal.
